I'm a Finalist!

Shannon over at Rocks in My Dryer is hosting a little haiku contest. The challenge was to write a haiku about motherhood. It could have been sweet, sincere, or, in my case, sarcastic. As I've always said, sarcasm is my spiritual gift.

Vote for me! The winner gets a $1000 debit card!

Are we related?

Rats...it only lets you vote once. I was going to cheat for you; or at least that half of my personality was going to cheat. You have a huge lead! Question is, what are you going to do with $1000 worth of Egg Beaters?

No cheating allowed! The voting site tracks your computer's IP address. I actually would prefer to win based on the merit of my poem.
The prize is a $1000 prepaid debit card which I can use anywhere! That should buy me half a tank of gas and a cup of Starbucks coffee.

You don't know me. We have never met but you are my twin sister!

Your haiku was very clever.

Although I'm a fellow finalist, I thought your haiku was hysterical.

Sorry about your pasta sauce. I do that sort of thing all the time.

Your haiku was stinkin' hilarious! It really sums it mother-daughter relationships. Congrats on being a finalist! I voted for you.
